LTP Industry respects your privacy and processes your personal data with rigor, transparency, and in strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy details the technical reality and the data we actually collect through our website (ltpindustry.com).
1. Data Controller
The entity responsible for the collection and processing of personal data is LTP – Engineering & Maintenance. For any questions related to your privacy or the exercise of your rights, contact us directly at: geral@ltpindustry.com.
2. Data Collected and Purposes
Our digital infrastructure was designed to be functional and secure, collecting only what is strictly necessary for the operation:
- Recruitment Form (Applications): Given our global scale, we collect identification data (Name, E-mail, Phone Number), location, educational qualifications, area of expertise, and your resume/cover letter.
- Purpose: Management of recruitment processes and evaluation of technical skills.
- Legal Basis: Explicit consent and pre-contractual steps.
- Statistical Data (Google Analytics 4): If you give your consent on our banner, we collect anonymous browsing data.
- Our configuration: IP addresses are anonymized and data sharing with Google is disabled. The focus is strictly on technical performance.
3. Security and Data Processors (Third Parties)
We do not sell or share data with advertising networks. We use trusted technological partners who operate under our guidelines:
- Cloudflare Turnstile (Anti-Bot Protection): We use this tool strictly to protect our contact and application forms against spam and automated attacks. Turnstile does not use marketing tracking cookies, does not identify the user personally, and does not retain your data, operating exclusively based on our legitimate interest in keeping communication channels secure.
- FluentSMTP: To ensure that contact and application notifications reach their destination securely, we use encrypted authentication protocols.
- Hosting (Infrastructure): Our servers and databases are located in Portugal (PTISP), ensuring that the data remains under European jurisdiction.
4. Retention Periods
The data submitted through our forms is securely stored in our private database. To ensure compliance with the GDPR’s storage limitation principle, LTP performs cleaning routines, defining the following retention period:
- Applications and Resumes: Retained for a maximum period of 3 years from the date of submission. This period is strictly necessary to maintain an active global talent pool, allowing the continuous evaluation of the candidate and their integration into future operational vacancies that fit their technical profile. After this period, all associated records and files are securely deleted.
5. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have full control over your data:
- Access and Rectification: Know what we have and correct errors.
- Erasure: Demand the deletion of your data (“Right to be forgotten”).
- Object: Revoke consent for statistical cookies at any time through the consent management banner.
To exercise your rights, send an e-mail to geral@ltpindustry.com. If you consider that your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD).
